Tonight when crusing on the highway I got to about 80 and heard a funny rattle like sound, and it only happens at about 80 and up....passenger thought it was coming from my side, I thought his side....so Im guessing its in the middle......car is fine, no CEL, everything is just fine, I got and listened to it, sounds fine......neutral rev it sounds fine. Im thinking and air leak?? Just happened tonight and Ive been above 80 plenty of times before in these last 2 weeks with it, so I dont know what it is. Any ideas?? 99 SE 5spd, 30k on it......thanks

 

COuld be a whooe bunch of things. Firts and easiest check could be your exhaust rattling under the car. Jack it up, get under there and wiggle the b pipe to see if it hits the undercarriage. Then check the front suspension. I had a bit of a noise on mine recently and wound up having the front pasgr acle replaced.
