2k2 Style Headlights (not projectors) for 4th gens.

I'm not really into making my lights whiter or brighter then they are now, but I am interested in changing out the actualy headlights. IMO the 3 ringed headlights on the 2k2 drastically improved it's looks over the previous 5th gens. Something like that on a 4th Gen would look amazing. A BMW style headlight would also look sweet. New headlights for cars are pretty cheap, usually around $130-300, it's when you start messing with the lightning that it gets expensive. I definatally would save up for a set like this. Who else is with me?

I think almost everyone is with you... look at all the commotion that came of the rumored custommaxima projectors. When you start talking about bmw headlights you have to factor in the cost of modifying the body to fit the housing which makes the cost jump from 150-300 to a couple thousand. This is why only 5% of the people on this board have completed this mod. Hell the only person I can think of is theblue with his audi lights, which btw looks really good.

if you can get someone to make a headlight that looks like the 2k2-2k3 then I will be very interested on buying a set of them.

So what's different about this thread than the other 20? All of them ask for projectors, which will have round circles, blacked out housings, and angel lights.

I don't want projectors or necissarily blacked out housings. I want a simple headlight set like the many you see on procarparts.com. Something like the 2k2 style headlights WITHOUT modifying the body. The circles would be more horizontal obviously but even that would look 100x better then our current headlights. People like me, Gimpatron and optimus just want a simple headlight replacement that changes the style.

This thread is usless without pics of what you are thinking. BTW no one is going to buy 2k2 headlights and sacrifice them for something that might possibly be done.

The thing is, if somebody is going to take the time to make aftermarket headlights, they are going to incorporate porjectors (for the added improvement). As easy as you may think they are to make, don't forget there are lots of things to headlights including aiming and light projections - they're not that easy to make. Also don't forget that you would have to have a production line for these, not like strut bars where you can just drill end brackets and put them on universal bars, or y-pipes where you weld things together. These have to be made from scratch, like Stillen products. Can it happen, yes. Will it happen, yes. When will it happen, who knows. But when they come out, I as well as 100+ other members are going to want ones with projectors for added visibility. If you're going to put them in, why not pay a little more or wait a little longer and get better ones?
