Modded Auto 4th Gen vs Stock/Modded Auto 2k-2k1??

4th gen:
97SE
Auto w/VB mod
Variable Intake Manifold
Variable Muffler
JWT POP Charger w/ Mid Pipe
Stillen Y-Pipe

How would that car do against a stock 2k or 2K1 auto maxima? From a stand still and from highway speeds?

Modded 4th gen of course.....

The modded 4th would kill a stock 2k/2k1 on the highway as well as from a stand still. I'm not sure about a modded 2k/2k1. Depends on the mods.

a modded 4th gen auto will kill a stock 5th gen auto excluding 2k2, 2k3. stock for stock auto 4th gens are quicker than auto 2k, 2k1, but 5speeds are close in comparison

Really? I always thought the 5th gens would be a threat because of their powerband. At least on the highway.

You're kicking so HP similar to the 5th Gens plus you're lighter. You should have no problems racing them.

I've beaten a stock 5th Gen auto (in my 4th Gen auto w/intake) up to 70+MpH multiple times. Now I only won by 1/2 a carlength, but nonetheless we did it about 5 times and had the same outcome every time. Stock, I think they're about identical performance-wise to a 4th Gen. If either one is modified, I would put my money on that car. Now I have also been WHOOPED on by nc00max, who has just about every bolt-on in the book (and nitrous, but he wasnt using that at the time). I don't think he even knew I was racing, he just flew right by me.

Anyone actually race one? My VI is still in the mail or maybe not shipped? I don't know. When I get it in, I may go 2k 2k1 auto hunting. I'll be happy if I could kill a stock auto 2k/2k1. Can't really say 5th gen anymore. One of those 3.5 monsters will come stomp me. =P

2k-2k1 automatics are the slowest of the VQ's but only by a small margin curse me They are great on highway rolls though. With your mods, you'd more than likely walk on the 5th gen. If he has similar mods, it will come down to the driver.
