Possible to put 95/96 frontend on a 97???

I have a 97 and like the 95/96 front end (bumper/grill/foglamps the whole lot) ALLOT better is it possible to put one on a 97? If it is I'll have a whole 97 frontend including brand new fog lamps for sale.
Thanks
2Maximas
PS how much work would this be? Could it be done on a Saturday?

Yes it is possible, and should be a direct bolt-on procedure.

Thanks for the reply, the FAQ talks about going from 95/96 to newer not the other way around. I appreciate the reply. I think that the 95/96 grill just looks MUCH more sporty, just an oval grill no bars or crap to junk it up, much cleaner looking. If that one in your sig, is yours it looks jam up! That's what I'm talking about, nice clean frontend with a wiremesh grill.........too tough!! I wonder.......ummmmm could you just change the grill insert? without the hassle of the whole frontend change?

Thanks for the compliments, but I doubt you could put '95-'96 inserts in a '97-'99 bumper, being that the grills are way too small. The conversion should be even easier for you (than the FAQs), you don't have to cut anything, so you can just bolt the '95-'96 bumper on there. Fogs should plug in too, but I'm not sure about that, you might want to try searching.

how much would you want for the front end of your max? i would only need the stock fogs/brackets, grill and bumper cover.

Im looking to swap my front end by spring. The only thing i wouldnt be able to trade/sell you is my front bumper cover, it has two tears in it from when i was backed into by a truck My grill, custom mesh inserts, stock fogs/brackets are all fine.

and yes this could be done in less than a few hours!

let me know via e-mail.

Ant

I blacked out my grill, just left the Nissan emblem silver and that's all. It just dosen't look as nice as the 95/96

I thought he wanted to put in all 3 mesh grills. Yeah you can swap the top one in fairly easily.
