Americarparts Intake on ebay?

Anybody know anything about this intake? I did a search for americar parts intake, but found nothing. Is this intake just like the bomz? Does it go to the right or left of the battery, like injen or PR? Thanks for your help...

By the shape of the tubing and their claim that it's a "no mod" installation, I'm gonna guess it's more like the Injen intake. The tubing's too long for the filter to be behind the battery & you're definitely not drilling holes in the fender well if it's a "no mod" install.

(I don't have any experience with this intake.)

Well, plumbing is plumbing and if it's mandrel-bent and powdercoated, that's about as good as you could want at any price.

My main concern would be with how high quality the filter element is.
(My guess is - not very). Also, that filter looks kinda small & narrow to me. I'd probably want a larger one.

At that price though, it wouldn't be unreasonable to buy the intake and separately purchase a cone filter of your choice. You could still come in right around $100 & have a fantastic new intake.

Try this: contact the seller & see if he'll adjust the price if you wish to buy the kit without the filter.
