promlem with "e"-brake light

promlem with "e"-brake light

my e-brake light goes on and off even though its not on?....can anyone tell me why it does this or how to fix it? thanks

Try adjusting the switch I believe it's in the console. and while you are doing that check the condition of the switch.I've run into this problem b4 with other cars and this has always been the solution. As for fixing it, consult your repair manual, mine isn't handy right now or I'd tell you how to do it.

maybe your brake fluid is getting too low.

Check to see if your master cylinder is leaking. I had this problem with my 3rd gen. Good luck!

Your brake fluid is low, top it off. Also check your brake pads, the low fluid level is an indication that there getting low too.
