Bad sounds whem I turn hard

In order to park in my garage, I have to turn pretty hard. When I did it the other day, I heard two very loud and distinct noises, almost like cracking noises. I had no idea what it was. Sounded like it came from the front left. Anyone have any ideas as to what it may be?

If it's popping while your car is rolling with the wheels sharply turned, it is likely the CV joints going bad.

This has constantly been happening to my max ever since I replaced both axles with brand new ones. I've been driving with it like 1,500 miles. It only makes the sound when I cut the wheel a lot, esspecially on the left turns.

My brother, who installed them for me, says it could be from a dust collector or something that is rubbing against the axle when I cut too much.

I'd say that isn't likely (my opinion) because the OEM axles didn't rub, did they? If they didn't, and if the new ones were installed right - i.e. no dust shields left loose, etc., then the new axles should not rub anything.

I have seen new axles that didn't come with much grease at all in the CV joints. Pretty crappy when that happens, but it is a possibility.

I have what sounds like a rubbing noise coming from right front tire. I was told that it is most likely the front strut bushing. A fairly cheap part with labor should not be more then 100 bucks.

I have a similar problem with sharp turns.. it's a clicking noise whenever I turn the wheel all the way. Sounds like what you guys have (?). My old car had the exact same problem, I was told it was the tie rods. Maybe that might help some
