I would suggest going to Autozone (auto parts store) and getting a free inspection of your battery and alternator. If they check out ok, then at least you've narrowed the choices down.

I was having that prob all week. In the morning, when the car was cold, it would do nothing but click when I tried starting it. I jump started it, and it was fine. The battery wouldn't hold enough charge to turn the starter. I ended up getting a Duralast 550 CCA from Autozone for $49.99 yesterday. Starts right up now, better than ever. The OEM bat is only 380 CCA I think.

The clicking sound you describe is the battery not supplying enough juice to start the car. Since it appears to be intermittent (your car does start, eventually), check for a loose battery terminal connection. I bet tigtening it down will fix your problem.
