help oil leak!

I just got my maxima as a hand me down from my mom. yes!!!

but theres an oil leak. just before she gave it to me she had it in for an oil change and i believe new brakes. but the guy at the shop told her she had a leak higher up in the engine (maybe from the top oil pan?) the guy said it was like 8 hours worth of labor and isnt worth the fix. any one have any experience with this problem?

oh yea its a 95

oil leak... 8 hours worth of labor? Did you check to see if it was the Oil Pressure switch? That thing is known to go bad! I fixed mine myself... all you need is to get the $5 part and a 1 1/16 6pt deepwell socket! check to see if THAT's leaking. it's on the back panel of the oil pan... you'll see a black wire loom leading back to it, just follow it and see if u have oil all over there. Good luck!
