exhausts

ok guys, i have one more thing to ask you today, then ill leave you alone
I am thinking of getting the PaceSetter Monza Performance Cat-Back Exhaust System (2.25" Tubing, 4" Rolled Tip)

Anyone have this Exhaust? and if so can you tell me how you found it, I am thinking of this one as I dont have a great deal of cash and at $205 it sounds pretty good, if you want to take a look the link is
http://www.ptuning.com/html/Item-Des...delDesc=Maxima

ok, thats a long link...but thats it....ok, one more thing now that I am here, if I get this and a Y pipe...I am done with the Exhaust...Right?
Thanks for your input

if you want a full xhaust system. get a cat-back, y pipe, high flow cat and some headers.
i'm told that new headers don't do much and the random tech high flow cat adds minimal amount of power.

I wouldn't bother with headers until there is more research done on them, they are just coming out. A full exhaust on a maxima would be:
-Y Pipe to a...
-High flow cat/test pipe to a...
-B-Pipe to a...
-Muffler

Test pipes are illegal, but many people just put the cat back on when emissions come around. After the Y-pipe, you are only gaining 1-2 hp from each other piece. A Y-Pipe with a good intake are the two best things you can get. For under $300 you can add about 20 hp to your max.
Good luck,
Dan

as long as there is a catalytic convertor on the car it's legal. whether or not it's functional doesn't really matter. unless you live somewhere they actually emissions test. just hollow it out and feed a pipe straight through

Most places, they DO actually do emissions testing, or at least near any decent size city. There are big fines if you are caught without one too, I'm not saying dont do it, just saying be careful.
