Cheapest place to get knock sensor??
Cheapest I've found were here: http://www.buyoxygensensors.com
Cheapest is 39.95 but those were the ones that you have to splice the old connector to. Otherwise, it's 59.99 and 64.99 for the ready to install ones. They all come with free shipping to US addresses.

it will only make a difference if its "bad"....ie wait for the CEL to come on...and even then, reset the ECU once or twice before replacing it. Its not a like a copper spark plug that degrades slowly over time. When it does fail, the ECU goes into a engine protection mode where I believe it greatly retards the timing, which will make less power and is less efficient...but it also won't knock from bad gas, or high temps until you can get the sensor changed.

:o)
I just got a knock sensor code so I ordered one from Courtesy. I paid $123 for the k.s. and $13 or the harness. Are you guys replacing your harnesses at the same time? The guy I spoke to recommended it. Why are you guys changing your k.s.? CEL? I have poor starting, can my k.s. be causing that? Is it hard to replace? Thanks.
