Cheapest I've found were here: http://www.buyoxygensensors.com

Cheapest is 39.95 but those were the ones that you have to splice the old connector to. Otherwise, it's 59.99 and 64.99 for the ready to install ones. They all come with free shipping to US addresses.

Those are O2 Sensors, not knock sensors - I WISH they only cost $64.00!!!

I just went to the dealer when my knock sensor messed up, paid $100+, but with important parts like that, you gotta go the right way, besdies you get what you pay for.

Just got one from Jerry Rome Nissan for $120 shipped.
Call them at 1-800-637-ROME and ask the parts guy for
the $120 shipped deal. It's obviously a factory Nissan
part. It made a HUGE difference in my '97 SE 5-speed!

it will only make a difference if its "bad"....ie wait for the CEL to come on...and even then, reset the ECU once or twice before replacing it. Its not a like a copper spark plug that degrades slowly over time. When it does fail, the ECU goes into a engine protection mode where I believe it greatly retards the timing, which will make less power and is less efficient...but it also won't knock from bad gas, or high temps until you can get the sensor changed.

knock by itself usually won't trip your CEL...but if you pull codes you will still get it...I noticed an improvement in gas mileage after replacing mine...got mine for 120 shipped from Ken at JR but it was during the summer....

:o)

I just got a knock sensor code so I ordered one from Courtesy. I paid $123 for the k.s. and $13 or the harness. Are you guys replacing your harnesses at the same time? The guy I spoke to recommended it. Why are you guys changing your k.s.? CEL? I have poor starting, can my k.s. be causing that? Is it hard to replace? Thanks.
