ECU specialists: Need help deciphering serial number on ECU. Confused, Mishmosh?

You may know that a while back I was scammed for a G-Force ECU. It ended up being a stock ECU. Anyhow, I don't know what year it's from. I have tried it in my car, it works just fine, appears to be the ECU from an automatic though (rpms jump about 100rpm when shifting from neutral into any gear when the car is stopped, thats how I know its auto). Just wondering if anyone can definitively tell me the year it came out of. I'm sending an ECU to JWT next week to get modified for use with 94 octane and 7200RPM rev limiter, and I need to decide whether to just send this spare one I've got or send the ECU that came with my car.

The serial # on the spare ECU I've got is:

A18-E23 EW4K and then the numbers 5929 are typed right next to the above #(not printed like the rest of the label).
