I am replacing my Bose head unit with another one. I hooked it up with a wirering harness and there was no sound. In 97 ,are there any amps to power the speakers. Cause ny car is mess with wires and crap all over the place and i need to get it cleaned so i can drive it. BUt does anyone know anything about the bose head unit, and replacing it??????

 

Are you replacing your Bose HU with aftermarket unit,if you are the you are going have to rewire all your speaker wires or go to BestBuy or CircuitCity to get the part to convert your speaker output(don't know what it call).Or you can post it in the Audio and Electronic Forum.Hope this will help and good luck.

If you're using an aftermarket headunit, you should really replace the amplified Bose speakers with aftermarket ones and amplifiers if neccessary.
