I just got a keyless entry on Ebay and was wondering if anyone knows how to program one. I don't know if it matters but its a 96 Maxima.

 

i just bought one as well, but it dont work with my car because i dont have that feature..

unlock your car door
sit in side
make sure the windows are closed
shut the door
lock the door from the inside power locks
take your key and put it in the ignition and then take it out
do that 6-8 times within 10 seconds
your hazards will flash twice
turn the car to acc or on, i forget which on (dont start the car)
hit the unlock button and hold it for second.
take the key out, manually unlock the door
open the door and get out
shut the door
hit the lock button (if it works there ya go! my hazards dont flash because i do not have the keyless option.. grrrr)

i am just going to by a remote car started with keyless entry in it form tweeter for 199.00 installed.

By the way, your keyless remote will not work if you don't have the Security and Convenience Package (S&C), which includes:
* 8-way power driver's seat
* Remote keyless entry and vehicle security system
* Integrated HomeLink Transmitter (SE only)
* Power trunk release
* Illuminated visor vanity mirrors
* Variable intermittent wipers

Hey guys, could you tell me the model numbers on your remotes? i have a 98' Max GXE, that has keyless, and i'm lookin ot get the remotes off ebay but not sure which one's i need, i assume the ones for 00'+ maxima's are different form 95-99's, anybody know for sure? THanks

 

chen, where you from? I just bought one from ebay, but it will not work on my car because i do not have the keyless entry option i guess. I have a 99 se. Private message me with some your info, and if you got pay pal, i paid 20.00 for it. I will sell it to you for 5.00.
