97-99 Grill

Whats up guys... I'm looking into finding a new grill for my 97. I want something nice that smooths the whole look of the car, I was wondering if anybody knew of anything other than the Trends grill and the GTP look alike stillen has.. Specifically, I saw a thread a while ago where some ones sig looked like the S4 mesh grill... was that a custom fab? or can I get it? My custom grill didn't hold up in the freezing weather we are having so I'm either looking for a perminate replacement or something to put in while i rip down and refab up another custom. All input would be greatly apreciated.

Theres nothing worth getting unless you have $200 just burning a hole in your pocket for some ugly *** grills they sell for the max.

Eric

PS. Save your money, and maybe make a better grill...

I have tried making that mesh grill that BlackCat has, but I gave up on it...maybe I'll try again in the spring/summer. Does anybody by chance have an extra mesh grill layin around they would like to sell? In my opinion, these would probably sell like hot cakes if someone really had the time and patience to make some....I remember when he first put up the directions, there were a lot of people likin it..including myself

There was a guy here a while back, I think he was maxima of the month a while ago, but anyway, he took a stock grill and had some body shop do some work to only shave the emblem off, which involved removing the emblem and then reworking the middle part. It looked awsome and was exactly what I wanted to try to do, but since he didnt do it himself i dont remeber reading much about how it was done. But it definately looks slick, looks like the nissan trucks on the road now where the grill just has the horizontal plain bar running across it. If anyone remeber who im talking about, and has some links to pics of his car id appreciate it.

I always figured Id eventually buy a trenz grill because its better than nothing and then try to work on the stock grill. I thought about just taking the emblem off and bondo stuff, but it really needs the cirlce shaved somehow too, and I was gonna do that too until i realized that the rest of the grill is directly connected to the circle and youd have a huge circluer gap in the middle so it turned out to be tricker than i thought, but im still all about it.
