I30 engine in Max? Are they EXACTLY the same?

Ok...I know these are the same cars!
BUT..my Uncle had his '97 I30 hit from the rear and was totalled. He bought it back from the insurance company. My big question is...is anything different on those engines from our Max's? (Other than the "Infinity" valve cover)

Can I just simply remove mine and install his? Anything extra needed?
Thanks!

(His has like 40,000 less miles than mine...and i'd like to swap)

Yes, they are the same. From everything I've heard, they will work.

I believe Brian_V has a infinity engine in his old maxima that he was selling, and just put the new cover on it.

Yeah Brian blew his original motor so he just swapped an I30 motor in.

It would help to make sure you're dealing with similiar year motors.
