No One Will Install My Gauges!!

i called 3 nissan dealers that all said they dont install because they dont want to get in trouble if something breaks. i went to 5 diffrent places that installed them, but only ones you buy there for over 100 dolalrs, and they said it takes 4 hours to install and you pay labot, so its a couple hundered dollar job!!!! they said the reason i got them cheap was cause no one will install them. can someone tell me where a place is that will install them. i live in central Connecticut

southington, CT 06489

anyone please

is this for the whole guage cluster or for just the guage faces? if its just the faces its about a 60 dollar job......if its just the cluster alone, it should be cheaper

Are you talking about indiglo type of gauges? Is a very easy install. Just follow the instructions in the how2 section of maximadriver.com

im not sure if the last posts was towards me or PaulCT, i dont want to butt in, but i think mine are different than his... I have the actuall needles indleglow. they come with hairline copper strands that has to be connected to the guages...it sounds like he has the guages themselves...lemme know those guys from NY and NJ..thanks

Can anyone tell me where they mounted their switch that changes the color of the indiglo pauges or ideas as to where to mount it. Mine is just dangling inside the fuse box.

I mounted my switch under the dash on the right side right above where your knee would be. I can reach it pretty easily and my knee doesnt come close to touching it.

I didn't feel like making a hole in my dash so I just shoved it under the dash next to the air vent by the ECU. I just set it to the intensity I liked and don't even bother fooling with it anymore.

I have it there too. Is not really an issue for me since I change the color only once a year.
