I was wondering if the A/C compressor in the 4th gens were the same. Is there a difference between my 95-96 to a 97-99 A/C compressor? I am in need of one and caught a for sale thread for one off a 97 and he says it will fit all 4th gens on his website web address
I called a local Nissan parts center and they said that the parts were different but I know sometimes the dudes at the parts center are wrong. Any info you guys can give??

I thought they were same. Well, if they are different, you can always use 97-99 belt

But b/c us 95/6-ers use same belts as 97-99-ettes, I believe the a/c compressor should be the same.

 

Found the answer. The parts are different and should not be substituted. I was told that by about 10 different aftermarket parts resellers and the Nissan service center so I take it that all of them can't be wrong.
