quick question on injectors?

i have a 1998 gxe with 78,000 miles on it

I took it to a mechanic cuz on stop lights my car for some reason was givinga SLIIIIGHT jerk with the foot on the brake, he suggested i change my injectors.

I hav searched the forums but cant find what an answers.

my question....

IF I USE RACING INJECTORS ON MY MAXIMA, WILL IT GIVE IT MORE
HORSEPOWER?

if yes what Shall i use?

WHAT ARE THE BEST SPARKPLUGS FOR A MAXIMA THAT ARE GOOD AND GIVE
HORSEPOWER? where can i get them?

By "racing" injectors do you mean higher flowrate? Going to higher flowrate injectors won't do anything for you unless you also increase the amount of air going into the engine, i.e. super or turbocharging. But I don't understand what made your mechanic think you needed new injectors. Except greed, of course.

my car was taking small jerks on stop lights so i thought i get it checked.

he said my fuel injectors were not properly allowing fuel to go through due to them being old, never changed or misused.

i wanna get a second opinion from someone else but i wanna know which injectors are good for our maxima's.

On a 98 with only 78000 miles? So how often does he suggest you change your injectors? And how do you misuse them?

Seriously, he either does not know what he is talking about, or he is trying to rip you off. Do not let this person do anything to your car. Go somewhere else to have your car diagnosed.

hey

is your check engine light on? if it is then it possible could be a sensor like a speed one. i don't think you would have to replace all your injectors. before REPLACING them you could just test them, see if they are the problem. Run a couple bottles of fuel injector cleaner threw your tank. that would be a fix (seems almost too easy) worth a try. it would blow if your mechanic said to change them he changed them and it wasn't them. mechanics tend to do that sometimes

My owners manual says Nissan "Does Not" recommend using those things...

Plus, i don't think they ever worked in my other cars.
