Only on my drivers door. I moved the latch that is on the car itself up a notch to try to help it out. If I hold the door (like pressure upwards) and shut it , it doesnt hit. It has rivits in it. (2) on the skirt in the drivers door. I was thinking of moving the door up like a centimeter, what do you guys think?

If its really bad I'd go ahead. Mine was minor so
I didn't fix my drivers side door at all.

Its minor, not bad at all. Like I said I can move the door up like a centimeter with pressure upwards on the door and it doesnt hit at all. Yours is black and you couldnt tell if paint is gone or not? Mine has a line of where the door hits it(barely).

My doors also hit my body kit. But mine is worse because my car is white, and the paint rubs off black. I am going to look into it on Sunday and see if I can move my doors up a little....

I think the hindges have two bolts on each one. Loosen them up and apply pressure to the door like moving it up by the side that has the handle on it.

My thoughts.....

----OH yeah , finally I see what my car is going to look like on sprints..nice. I have 19s and stillen kit also.

What is it about the drivers side door? When mine closes it makes a hollow thunk sound that sounds really bad. But then sometimes it closes normally. I have no idea why it does this.

I can tell. I've got a white spot where it rubbed off the paint.

my front door rubs on the passanger side with the Stillen side skirt. I think when i have the side skirts re-painted and re-installed ill have them cut out a small piece to avoid this problem.

And if i was to lift the door a centimeter like 96shogun mine wont rub either

yeah - I know exactly what everyone means - esp. the hollow sound that it makes. It comes and goes. I just dont care anymore bc im not going to hold my door up everytime I close it. I let it rub and when I enter a show or something I will paint it.

rivits here too and ends are screwed in also. tape would only make the skirt sit higher and cause it to rub more.

When riveting your side skirts, did you try to countersink in so it sits flush with the rest of the skirt.

The rivet would hit the door if it wasnt down enough.

I am going to move the front two doors up next weekend.

I think you should try countersinking your rivets first. Since the only thing that seems to be hitting is the rivet, makes me think that it sits higher than the rest of the side skirt. If you adjust your doors that way you plan to do it, you will have problems with your door alignment(door will have a hard time closing)....good luck my friend

The rivits dont hit and I think the door would be fine if it was only a centimeter up. Adjust the hindge too.

Does anyone have any pics of this so people who buy it in the future can know what area they can sand down?

mine don't rub? and all i did was use madd screws to screw in the skirts from underneath, f the rivit things they suck. you can try using a heat gun to mold it better to your car, i know the kit is very responsive to heat but if its already painted, watch out!

mine is screwed in from underneath too. When I get it repainted I wonder if I can fill the rivit holes in somehow.

I found my problem. Driver side door is the one thats rubbing the worst. The passenger door is slightly , so im not worried about it. The door hindges are wore out. The pins are not replaceable. I bought the top and bottom hindge today at nissan. Going to swap them out this weekend. I had about a 1/4 of an inch to 1/2 of an inch of play in my door.
