Springs to go with KYB AGX's

I have a 5spd with ~80-90lbs of stereo stuff in the trunk. I want a very good ride, near SE stock quality. I had the B&G's on my 95 auto and it was a bit harsh at times but I loved the drop, but had a bit of a saggy rear.

With a 5spd Im afraid Id have the saggy rear again if I went with B&g's, but I want that much of a drop really. Would Progress meet what Im looking for??? I mean Id prolly have my suspension at 2/3, for the softer ride since I dont really speed around corners much.

So whats the consensus......and yes I did search for hours, but not many people with progress report back, just a few did.

H&R / AGX = great ride/handling combo.

I will second that. While an aftermarket suspension is going to harsh compared to stock, the H&R combo and KYB AGX combo (I have it as well) is very tolerable. However, I have personally never tried another setup so I cannot compare it to other setups.

90 pounds of just about anything in the trunk of your car is going to make the rear sit lower then the front.

It's called gravity.

I love my Progress/AGX combo. I guess the thought as to whether it's a harsh ride or not is a very subjective one. Although this may sound obvious to you, I think the road quality is the biggest factor on my view of whether the combo is harsh or not. I've had 3 big guys riding in my Max (weighing 650-700lbs) and did not find the ride to be noticeably worse nor did the car bottom out.

In addition, the Progress springs have not sagged over the past 6 months and my 5-spd still looks level.
