I have UR pulley in garage. I don't know that I can install in it my MAxima Auto or not. Because I read the article from gregghome.com that I should have professional machanic install my pulley because my car is Automatic................ any suggestion?

The only difference I know of between the auto and manual is the removal of the crank pulley.

With the manual you can put it in gear and it will hold, with the auto it just spins around and will not come loose.

There are 3 ways that I know of:

1. Pneumatic Impact Wrench.
2. Blip the starter with a strong arm held against the steering arm. (Thats the method I used)
3. Remove a plug and stick a rope down one of the cylinders, as much as you can get in there, then when you rotate the engine the piston will come in contact with the rope before TDC and prevent rotation of the crank.

The best way is #1.

The other two are risky.

Its not hard other than that and the fact its very close quarters working in there.

I tried the second method and it didn't work for it. Gave up and paid the $90 for the installation.

Maybe I'm totally wrong. But what if you left the car in gear and turned the car off? Would it have the same effect as leaving the 5-speed in gear? I doubt it because the whole auto tranny is viscious.

Torque Convertor is liquid there is no direct connect like a 5 speed even if you have a viscous LSD.

Use a big impact wrench with a lot of psi backing it. No problems there.
