Just got a new muffler, but noticed a slight problem. The muffler I bought has a 2.5" inlet and the stock Maxima b pipe only has a 2.25" outlet. Is there any way to weld this muffler onto the stock b pipe or would you recommend getting either a custom made b pipe from a local shop with a 2.5" outlet, or going with a warpspeed b pipe. Thanks for your help, I'am new to this muffler thing so bare with me.

 

Call Budget Exhaust and get their B-Pipe. Mandrel Stainless steel and all that for $170 shipped. Will fit like a glove. Get the resonator if you like it quiet.

all flanges are made to fit each other..


2.25 and 2.5 pipe flanges should fit each other..


i have a 3 in resonated straight pipe in place of my cat and it bolts right up, no problems
