I MADE A POST ABOUT A WEEK AGO ABOUT MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON. IT'S BEEN A WEEK SINCE I GOT THE CODES--34 AND 77. THE LIGHT HAS NOT COME BACK ON. ORIGINALLY IT CAME ON RIGHT AFTER A HARD ACCELLERATION. IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THE ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON WAS A ONE TIME EVENT, AND NOTHING NEEDS TO BE DONE? NEXT STEPS PLEASE. I AM ESPECIALLY CONCERNED ABOUT THE 77 CODE, BUT I'M USING HIGH TEST GAS, AND HOPE THAT WILL ELIMINATE THAT PROB.

THANKS!

Two Codes

The codes came on for a reason when you did some "stompin" but went away. They are more and likely related to the same thing. A "knock sensor circuit" and a "rear heated o2 sensor circuit" are probably related to either bad/clogged fuel injectors or more than likely you need to change your spark plugs. It happened to me. Probably because the plugs were not burning the gas correctly and the O2 sensor "sensed" that and the knock sensor did also. Other wise don,t worry about it but if they come back it,s probably one of the two.
