wood trim question

My wood trim on 99 Max Se is getting worn and faded but only around the two vents on the center console and the piece below it around the rear defrost and hazzard switch i called Courtesy Nissan and was advised they don't sell the pieces just the whole set and he said it was very expensive and directed me to woodtrim.com whoose prices are pretty good my question is how hard is it to replace this?Is it fairly easy or am i going to have to take it somewhere and get ripped off?I am also considering the aluminum instead but i am not sure if it will look right since my car is Pearl white with beige leather interior.

hmmm yeah... how come your steering wheel is black? I thought where matched w/ the dash or something. Yeah, it looks like the wood trim is the best way to go w/ that interior... or maybe CF? probably too odd tho... but it would match the black wheel.

To my understanding all 99 Se's came with a black steering wheel. Is it hard to get the old wood trim off? It's probaly just glue or something.

my wood trim is fading in the same spot. i took the trim off of the outer two vents and it only took gentle prying with a screwdriver. if you try, make sure to put a cloth or napkin between the trim and the screwdriver.

dont get an aluminum dash on your beige interior, it wont look right. stick with the wood trims, ap-signworks.com has great quality kits
