Dashboard flashing lights during wet braking
I was driving in heavy rain last night and going downhill and a friend in front of me hit their brakes and spun out, so I was forced to hit my brakes pretty hard. I was going about 35, and as I hit the brakes reasonably hard, it looked as though my brake light and some other light on the right side of my cluster lit up. I dont believe I have ABS because the ABS light doesnt light up when I start the car. Anyways, I have a 97 SE and I dont think anythings wrong because it slowed quite well considering I was sliding down a hill in a puddle of water barreling towards my friends spun out car...but Im curious what lights it was and why they came on....anyone?

Do you have a manual transmission?
Call it strange, but your car might have stalled and retsarted (since it was in gear).
That once happened in my friend's Talon when I drove it hard, it stalled, lights in gauge all came on and car started back up since it was still in gear. Happened only once though.
