CEL light is on, fix it myself?

CEL light is on, fix it myself?
Hey guys my check engine soon light came on. Nissan said probably a new 02 sensor, should I buy it myself or give nissan 100 to do it? 100 just for labor, dont know the price of the sensor? thnx

an aftermarket O2 sensor would run u $80-$100. do it yourself for more than half what the dealer would.

oh yea, your car has two of them. one in front and one in the rear. so make sure you change the right one

DIY. The hardest thing about it is taking them out if they are rusted on. Beside that it is an easy job.

There are actly three 02 sensors in your maxima..2 in the y-pipe and one in the catylic converter or one in the b pipe(depending on the year Maxima you have).
