For those who rewired Fog Lights

I read a write-up on this just now and realized I had to splice the wire into one of my diamond cut clear's. I already have rewired signal lights. Will this affect the rewiring of the fog lights? or will the process be the same (signals alternating) while the fog lights are still on? Thanks for the input.

which rewiring did you do?

There's one where the clearence lights flash with the turn signals.
There's another where the turn signal is always on, and alternates with the parking light when the turn signal is activated.

Be more specific, and you'll get more responses.

As far as splicing it in, i'm pretty sure that the wire that you splice it into is for the parking/clearence lights.

So basically , when you turn on parking clearence lights, power is sent to the actual foglight switch, which can the be turned on while headlights are off. And since nothing changes with you parking lights when you turn on your brights, the power remains there, and keeps the fogs on when you turn on your brights.

And if this really worries you, use wire taps, since it doesen't break the connection, just taps into it. That way if something goes wrong, just take off the wire tap and tape it up.

ok ok sorry for the confusion. well i rewired my signal lights meaning just the diamond cut clear's. (nothing happens to the corner lights, just the diamond cut clears alternate when signaling) as for the wires. check this write-up
http://www.users.voicenet.com/~breau...fogrewire.html
now looking at the last section it tells me to splic the wire into that small corner light.

now, i already rewired my "blinkers" if anyone has done that they'll understand what i'm trying to say. If i am supposed to splice the relay wire from the fuse box (fogs under hood passengers side) to the corner light in the picture, will it have an effect on the alternation? hope this clarifies things a lot more. =)
