rear suspension noise
sounds like a busted rear shock, but if you do a search for suspension noise you will come up with a million things it could be.
The best way to test a rear shock is kind of annoying, but try to tighten the inner nut (you need a deep socket wratchet and an adjustable wrench for this). If it just spins, the seal is bad.
It could also be...
spare tire is loose
trunk liner is loose
If you remove the trunk liner and look around, you can see the tops of the rear shocks. If there are any anomales in their appearance (one is higher than the other or something), that's a good indication one is busted.

Sorry Erica.

The pistons will spin, there supposed to.
and if the shock is busted.
can i still keep driving on it until it gets warmer.. like 2 months?
the tire will wear un-evenly..are there other affects?
