interior lights

This sounds strange but when I push down hard on my brakes the interior lights in my car turn on....well just the dome and front door lights...what could that be?

Re: interior lights

What could that be?? It seems that you are pinching some wiring by the brake pedal. Better fix it quick before the wires get cut or else some lights will totally quit working.

Like stated above... door switch circuit:

Check the door switches or check for a grounding door trigger wire to the aftermarket alarm near your break pedal (probably green in color)

Is this when you're moving or when you're stopped? If moving, then maybe the switch inside the door is loose and the extra force exerted by the door is causing the lights to come on. Seems unlikely, but if your wires are okay...

maybe when you press on your brake pedal, the extra lights that pedal lights up, drains more power from your battery and makes your lights dim?

could this be fixed with a hyper ground system? or even the DIY kind...?
