FSTB help

Does anyone know of any down sides to a front strut tower bar. I've heard about the good things it does, but does tighter steering hurt you in the snow or ice? I want better handling but I don't any downsides to it.

hmm... well there's one for sure...

tempts you to take turns faster and if you don't know your limits, you could lose traction and bad things may follow...

Thanks for the input. I have a 96 and have read in the past on the org that you might have to cut some metal off the towers in the engine bay. Does anyone know anything about this?
