Good Snow/Winter Tire ??

Alright Im getting 17x8 Evo 5's soon for the springs and summer months but the tires that are one my 15's are pretty warn out and Im thinking of getting good winter/snow tires for next year so Im all set...whats a good brand/type thas also good when its dry out ?? I have no clue about winter tires

Nokian NRWs or WRs. They're heavily siped for grip in the slush/wet but don't wear down nearly as quickly as pure snow tires on asphalt.

I agree, the WR's are one, if not the only all-season tire to also recieve a snow tire rating. I'm running them now and they are great in the snow but do leave some dry traction to be desired.

Dunlop SP Sport 5000. They were great during the last snow storm in Massachusetts.

I would also recommend Blizzak's. They are obtainable everywhere in case you don't want to mail order them. I have had Arctic Alpins, and while OK, I feel they not aggressive enough in snow. For sure, do not settle for all season tires that are decent in snow.
