ACT (Air charge temperature) sensor with cone filter

Guys...installed my MAF adapter and cone filter today...but what the heck does one do with the ACT sensor which is located on my 95 SE upper airbox?..Just remove it from the airbox, connect it and attach it close to the filter?..
Thanks for your replies..

Your better off zip tying it, so it won't bounce around your engine bay and break. Just make sure the sensor is inside the filter or close to the opening.
