whinning noise at idle help
whinning noise at idle help
96 113,000 5 speed
I have searched and I know there are a couple of people haveing this
problem.
ONLY at idle I get a whinning noise from the belts area.
If I give it gas it goes away but comes back when idle returns.
The noise does not happen all the time and the car has to be warmed up to make the noise.
I did drop by nissan when I noise was occuring and all they could say was it was a bearing noise. The belts have been replaced.
my guess is:
Water pump?
alternator?
If you had this problem and found out what it is please let us know
