Moderate... I mean something like Sarona's Style kit where it still looks like a stock front bumper but modified a little with a lip and some curves.

sarona's front bumper is ugly as hell, especially when put on with no fog lights...it just leaves a big hole in the front...well thats my opinion. I seriously think they make the best back bumper and i LOVE their sides.

When i'm ready to get a kit, if i ever do, iw oudl honestly get sarona back and sarona sides (or second option skyline sides) and stillen front. The problem with 4th gen kits is that stillen is like the best looking front and i dont even like it all that much but everything else is either too ugly or too aggressive. But i cant knock these guys for making these, they took our cars to the next level...i could only encourage a larger option...

I love the sorona kit. The stillen kit is too plain and everybody has that on this board. When I put my sorona front on I had recieved way more compliments than my stillen front. Some people thought the stillen front was stock.

will this kit be fiber glass?...i would not buy a fiber glass kit. i think the urethane kits are worth the extra bit of money. thats why i went w/the stillen kit...

LoL... that's the first real good laugh I had today.

Oh, I forgot to address this earlier. These new kits will not be made out of fiberglass... or urathane. No further questions.

IMO, if your going to spend money on a body kit might as well go all out...and when the kit is on...paint the car a different color just to make it stand out even more. Just my opinion. That's what I'm going to do.

I kind of like the combination of Stillen front lip, Skyline sides, and Stillen rear.

Sorry to get off topic Joey, but i wouldn't value any maxima driver's opinion that puts sh*t wheels like that on their max.

It seems that from what I read, the majority are looking for a clean looking kit that has smooth lines, and compliments our luxury-sports cars. As far as extremety of the kit.... enough so it borderlines someone able to look at the car and comment on the kit.

The maxima is a 4 door family sedan. It may have the soul of a Z or the soul of a sports car, but it has the body of a family sedan. Any kit that is too aggressive just doesn't look right on it.

I agree with those who said that the Stillen kit is too plain... many don't even notice it or have to ask whether or not it's stock.

Something a little more would be nice.

LoL... nah man... the kits will be made out of ABS Plastic. Pretty much what stock bumpers are made out of and a guaranteed perfect fitment so that there's no modification from the bodyshop. All they have to do is paint and install.

I agree with Jefferson. The Maxima has a phenomenal engine and is offered in manual transmission form, but it's body is very conservative and not eye catching like a Camaro/Firebird/Cobra/350z/Supra's body. Putting an "aggressive" or "Extreme" kit on it makes it look akward and very ricerish. The Stillen Aero kit adds subtle aggressiveness, while kits like the Skyline and Sarona go overboard and try to add too much flash --- which in turn makes it look akward and tacky. When you add these ridiculous flashy kits to it, it ruins the class and integrity of the entire car, and puts it in the "honduh" category. Body kits can only add a certain amount of aggressiveness before it gets to be overkill. That's just my opinion though, I know a lot of you feel differently.

The next i'm going to do to add aggressiveness to my Max is purchase the future Camaro LS1 SS hood that CustomMaxima is probubly going to make, unless the price is too high. Other then that I might add some eyelids. That's about all I can do.

we tend to forget that nissan maxima's are a luxury sedan, not civics, not bmw's which are luxury and look a little sporty...but maxima's...with a few mods they can look sporty (drop, spoiler, nice rims) but making it too aggressive is no good for the maxima...

Well I was running it through the 5th gen guys about one style (M1) we're sketching out along with 20 other designs per car (350Z, G35 Coupe, Maxima, Altima) and I want to see what it would look like on the car though.

Front

Sides

Rear

those look nice, but something thats a little more rounded. the bmw's have a rather squarish body, and the max is a curvier car. Especially the rear bumper, imho.

good ideas, keep them coming

a lil while back i was readin in the 6th gen forrum on what our new maxima should be like. A nice pic came up of a green Holden SSX, it was a green one and it was tight as hell. The front bumper was so nice and the car overall has some similarities as ours(curve wise)this bumper would look awsome on our car with the 97-98 type grille. can someone do a photoshop. i have the pic on my HD but dont know how to post it. If anyone wants to photoshop i can email them the pic.

You really think the Maxima is a luxury sedan?? I have read that a few times in this thread and am wondering if you guys are serious.

A sport sedan(5-speed form), yes. A luxury sedan, no.

The Sarona front wasn't bad persay, it was just made poorly by a company who doesn't have the word 'quality' in their dictionary.

ah, the perfect combination. Nah, sarona front is just plain ugly

stillen is popular because its the most basic lip...everything else is too aggressive. IMO, skyline is too aggressive, ionic is TOO basic, ummm...stillen is just in the middle...this new kit that custom maxima comes out with...i would like to see how it would look on a real maxima....if i could draw...

yea i'm picky

Agreed, I don't know if I like the BMW design. For some reason the front and rears dosen't seem to look right on the max(prolly because I'm not use to looking at it and the Bimmer is a 2 door compared to our sedan). If I was to get a kit right now, I prolly go Stillen front and rears and Skyline skirts.

I will be completely honest at the risk of getting flamed all day long. I would like to see a wide body kit. our cars are really tall and narrow, I think a wide body would give our car a much better stance, a more aggresive look. nothing honduhish but something wider and a little more aggresive. maybe with a little sharper lines. I will try and find something to show you what I am picturing in my head. flame on people.
