ok.. since it was a beautiful day out today i decided to put my rims back on hopin that it won't snow anymore.. about half way through the process i got an idea and decided to weigh the rims to see what the difference in weight there is.. i had bought a set of Mustang Cobra rims from a buddy for a very good price and was surprised to find out that they fit, and since they were designed for the big V8 engine i always thought they were much heavier than the stock five star SE rims that i got.. so after weighin all eight rims w/ tires i got an average of about 44 lbs for the stock ones and 47 lbs for the Cobras.. i've heard that increased weight at the wheels affects performance a lot more than increased weight anywhere else on the car and my question is, how bad does it affect performance with the added 3-5 lbs at the wheels..??
