If you guys remember, i had a knocking noise when i would shift out of park into reverse evry morning when the car was cold. I have now been able to recreate that noise when the car is warm. Basically, when I put the car into reverse, and then give a good amount of gas, (like say making a K-turn in the middle of the street to avoid oncoming traffic)and then put it into drive and give it gas, the knocking noise comes with each shift back from D to R, a plit second after the transmission is shifted adn gas is applied. As if somethign is slapping back and forth. Anybody? At first I thought it was someting getting stuck in the morning, but now i know it is not the case. What the heck could it possibly be?
