Need Help, Broken Bolt On EVAP Center Vent Control Valve...
Ok, so I was doing a lot of searching and came across so many posts on what to do when trying to resolve the 0903 code. I went ahead and jacked the Max up, took a look at the EVAP CVCV, and began removing the 2 bolts that seemed to hold it in place. They looked really rusted, so I went ahead and sprayed some WD40 on them. I let it soak for like 15 minutes and began unscrewing the first bolt and it broke in half. I thought it might happen to the 2nd bolt so I left it alone and dropped the car back down. Ok, I have several spare Nissan bolts laying around the same size as the 2 current bolts on that EVAP CVCV, I just need to know how would I be able to get the other part of the broken bolt out of the canister? If I remove the other bolt (hopefully not breaking it off) to get the EVAP CVCV free, I would have about a little bit of the broken bolt sticking out of the canister. I was thinking of putting a vice grip to it and trying to twist it out, but I'm pretty much looking for a better solution. Right now, it still holding in place, but with only one bolt, it looks like it can leak air or whatever. This really pi$$es me off when I can do a supercharger install, but can't seem to remove one stupid EVAP CVCV bolt without breaking it. Can someone please shed some light. Thanks.

craftsman makes "screw outs" and a similiar product for bolts so with a little luck you can just drill it out.

Re: Need Help, Broken Bolt On EVAP Center Vent Control Valve...
I just got the same code the other day when my CEL went on. I looked through the Chilton manual for instructions, but they were pretty vague. Do you have to unscrew/remove the whole cannister to get to the valve?
Let me know how yours turns out. Good luck!

I guess I'll try the drill thing, even though I really don't understand how it works. I'll take a pic of what is the problem sometime later this weekend. I'm thinking of getting another EVAP CVCV from a local junkyard, but not until it gets warmer.
