I would give the edge to the Max but very slightly. The Beamer is RWD which will help him launch harder but the inline 6 does not have the low end of the Max. Be warned though because the BMW has great top end and its gearing is ideal for speeds above 80 mph. To win, get a good launch and don't look back.

Should be about dead even stock vs stock. Mods, or driving skill will probably make the difference.

What if we told you that you would get your **** kicked?

What if we told you that you would kick his ****?

It's not like you wouldn't race anyway.

Thus RACE AND FIND OUT

I ran a 328 Conv. auto. When I was stock. Almost even. If you have an intake and if you brake torque and they don't you'll win . BTW, I'm an auto 97.

I think you have a high chance of taking him now with your intake and exhaust. Put you ypipe on and run him, then you will win for sure. BTW...your exhaust is not doing anything without a ypipe.

My friend had a 95 M3 with an intake and I stayed right with him. The 328i has about the same HP as us stock but like was stated previously the inline six and gearing are more towards higher speeds. You should win.
