UPDATE: Maintainance project

this is a continuation from my other threads, i just finished installing my NGK plugs, PCV, and brianv intake mod. Plugs went in without a prob except i dropped pne of the screws in the grass and cant find it, ill look tomorow. I have a prob with the PCV as i broke the rubber hose, it was very hard and as i was pulling it off it sorta made a snap noise and now theres a slit in it. ill pick up a new one tomorow. Intake mod was very productive. the gold metal plate was a lil bent but nothing a home made gasket couldnt solve. i need to get a clamp to place around the filter to where it meets MAF because it keeps fallin off when car starts(engine vibration i guess.). The car sonds great, even with the cheap $15 ricer filter .
I had one major problem when i finished, THE CAR WOULDNT CRANK UP!!!!!
i spent 15 min making sure everything was hooked up, but it still wouldnt start. finally i grabed my b@lls and just cranked it and held on for bout 10-15 sec while mashing the gas, then woooosh a huge cloud of smoke shot out the exhaust. do you guys know what it could have been. i did do a TB cleaning so im thinking some gunk ran down the manifold into the engine. after i let the car run for 10 min i shut it off and it cranked again with no problems. My car revs soooooooo much quicker now. im super happy. I also have a loud hissing at idle, i know with the cone intake everyone says its normal but id like to make sure with u guys its ok.... its super loud.
Thanks guys, please leave questions, coments, smileys, whatever

Well guys i finally took the car out for a test spin and was impressed. my car accelerates so much quicker and has a deep growl when i floor it. im thinking of upgrading to a real hybrid intake later on(frankencar type) instead injen CAI. only complaint is that car doesnt pull hard after 3000 rpms.is this normal? i can get immaculate take offs. today at a red i was in a lane that eventually merges. and rather than getting behind the car next to me, when it turns green, i just floored it and my car launched so quickly. i caught up to the next set of lights before they even had a chance to turn green(second set has a delay from red to green compared to the first set). Now i notice i have a coolant leak .there is a dripping leak at the radiator plug that is very small but overnight it manages to drain my coolant resevoir overnight. its screwd tight but i still have a leak, any ideas guys??? Also, what is another cheap mod i can do to increase performance? heres a list of things im going to do in the up coming weeks.
1-tranny,brake, oil/engine flush.
2-finish sound system(amp, full range speakers needed)
3-a performance mod(y-pipe or UD pulley, mabey a real intake)
