I just joined this Forum and I own a 1996 Maxima QX V6, with a 2.0 liter engine, European version, located in Sweden. The car looks and runs great, with no problems. A real pleasure to drive. Once in a while however the orange S-light (o/d light) on the transmission blinks 16 times, each instance. This happens randomly. The mechanics find no problem and say that this is related to connections in the electricity or the transmission computer. I would appreciate a comment from other member that have experienced this or can refer to a thread concerning this.
