99 se limited
sup fellaz n ladies. im new to this forum. my girlfriend has a 97 maxima gxe and me.. i have nothing, but i always drive her car and i fell inlove with it the second i got in it. i did a few mods for her here n there. now it's time for me to get mines. i been shopping around for a maxima. i found a 99 se limited. i dont kno much about that one. can any one give me info. i already have everything set up on what i want on it.

The 99SE limited is the same as any other maxima,same engine, body etc except for a few cosmetic differences, like;
The White face instrument gages are tinted titanium instead of just plain white. Every Maxima SE has just white face gages.
The SE 16" wheels are tinted bronze. On a regular Maxima SE they're not.
The headlights also have a bit of a tint to them.
Here's what makes the SE Limited really special, though;
if it has leather, it's perforated, that's real nice. The regular leather seats are not.
Red is the color exclusive to an SEL. No other Maxima has it. That makes it quite rare. If the SEL is not red, then it's still an SEL with all the other goodies mentioned above, but not as rare.

The 5 speed is much quicker. Autos can be modded to make them quicker. Great cars. I had one 99SEL silver 5 speed. Also don;t overpay. A nice one with reasonable miles should run you around 11-14 depending on variables. Don't pay 16+ for one like I see some luxury dealers charging. I bought mine new for $20.500 So after 4-5 years deprec, prices should be in the ballpark mentioned above.

If you want to get the most unique 4th Gen Maxima out there
Get a 99 Maxima SE-L 5-speed, Red (Or as Nissan calls it, Crimson Blaze), fully loaded with perforated black leather interior. That is one rare Maxima. There's a guy selling his here;

dude it just a car. just drive it and enjoy it. the way it is. dont be a shame from your car. its not like your girlfirend with small racks. its not like you want ot modify her with bigger ones. just drive it and enjoy it.
