i am painting my interior and i can't get the a/c vents close to the doors off ? pls help

took me forever to do that! i feel your pain. you just gotta keep at it but be gentle enough not to snap it. if you have a haynes or chiltons manual, look in there where they connect and just give enough force and eventually they pop out. goodluck
