No 4th gen maximas sold in the USA have a limited slip differential. Infiniti I30t does, Canadian Maximas do. Domestic market Maximas do not.

You probably got a canadian maxima, imported used for sale and converted to MPH. That is happening TONS now.

You should be able to tell if you have a VLSD by the tranny code on the fire wall in your engine comartment. SEARCH for VLSD tranny code and you will find it.

THEN come back and tell us if you have VLSD. If you do then you are the first USDM Maxima I have ever seen with it (without) a swap, and that would virtually guarantee you have a grey market/canadian vehicle.

EDIT: RS5f50V is the tranny code for VLSD tranny!

 

I think we have a misunderstanding. I got this from an I30t at a junkyard. I had him go and find the trans code from the firewall and he read it back and the last letter was V , then I had to get it for my conversion
