well i don't really mean the tint on a lexus, just mirror tint. the stuff you can't see through at all. they'll rip it off on the spot.

yea, i have 20%. for the most part you can see in during the day, but a night it looks real nice without being so dark that you can't see in or out. 20% or a little lower will be your best bet as far as looks, safety, and legality are concerned.

....you really can't see in at night with 20%

Cool. How high do you have to go to not have people see in during the day? If you go that high, I'm sure it's probably a pain at night huh?

well actually the lower you go percentage wise the darker the tint is. for example, i have 20%, so 10% or 5% would be much darker(20% of light being let in as opposed to 5% of light). 5% is basically limo tint, so you could get that and not have anyone see in during the day.....i kinda wish i got that, but i'm still very happy. the limo tint would only be a problem at night if you were in an area where there was limited lighting. backing up would be a problem because you would not have any idea what's behind you. but car headlights would shine through for the most part.

gonna go with 5%?

Thanks, I didn't know that. Sounds like maybe 10 or 15 would be good. I think limo black would be too much of a hassle.

get 5% on the back glass and windows and 20% on front windows. 5% is a little too dark on the fronts at night unless there are lights along every road you drive on, or you like to roll the window down to be able to see 5% really only looks good outside the the car but inside its a hassle. Also do a black interior swap to set it off.

Thanks for the input everyone. I still would like to see that bluish mirror tint that those small roundish Lexus SUVs have.

So where did everyone get their tint? Also the Lexus RX300 Tint has a green cast to it, aanyone have that? It is still fairly see-through, but at cetrain angles it is mirror tint. Also I noticed that the rear window of my maxima (95) has a greenish tint to it especially when it is wet, does anyone know here to get that? Thanks

Mine has it as an option on the SE-Ls. it's a light tint, but it's noticable.
