well i'm changing my front and rear emblems from gold to silver...but my trunk key hole and antenna are still going to be gold. i figure i can probaly paint the antenna trim black but am not sure if i should paint the key hole body color(pearl white), or what to do...

has anyone else done something like this? there was another thread before but no one really commented.



(can't wait till the spring weather kicks in...there are mods to be done and the max needs to be cleaned up!)

 

Why are you going to replace the gold emblems with silver? If you're taking the gold emblems off, why not leave 'em off all together? IMO I think it looks better w/o emblems.

 

i was in the same situation. i have a beige Max with gold emblems and antenna, so i just changed all the emblems to silver. it really improved the look. the gold looked so cheap. and faded. my keyholes were never plated in gold, but now i am stuck with a gold antenna. it looks great now, but still wish i had everything chromed.
