What is this sensor on my 96 5speed?

I just bought a 96 SE 5speed(in place of my 95 gxe auto) and I installed my Frankencar intake on it last night. I noticed a few things different from the installation but one of the main thing is an EXTRA SENSOR. It sais on it 'boost sensor'. It's located around the lower exhaust manifold. Someone tell me what this is and what it does. Is there a hidden turbo or s/c on the maxima that I don't know of? lol.

For you guys who have this sensor and installed the FrankenCar intake, where did you put the sensor? Did you just leave it hangin there like I did or did you zip tie it somewhere?
Thanks
-Paul
