I duno if yall've had this convo before...I'm a future 4th gen owner. But I like these carbon LED altezas...anyone else like 'em?

the majority of people consider altezza's ricey.

these boards prefer the look of red/clear tails rather than altezza's.

 

well, there is no set rule on what is, or is not rice. the term "rice" is diffrent for every org member here. when calling something rice it means that YOU think that it makes the car look bad, cheap or whatever. diffrent people have diffrent feelings. so basicly who cares what others think... if you like them, then get em! (personaly i don't like any lights like that... but once again that is just my opinion.)

Agree. IMO, depends on the color of the car, the c/f might look OK on a dark car, the chrome would look rice on just about any color Maxima. I've seen some nice Preludes that were ruined by the chrome altezza's.

 

i got the gunmetal gen II altezza's on a black max and it looks tight...i like the red/clears but they just look to plain for me,...

These CF look the best on sterling mist cars, I think his nick is 1max2nv, or 1fastmax, sorry.. i got you guys confused, but whoever it is that has these tails on their sterling mist 4th gen looks SICK, i remember looking at your page that showed like 10 pics of these lights on your car, at night, lit up, etc. and i was just like wow, i need this on my sterling mist, just my .02

what exactly makes a taillight an "altezza" tail?
on the original altezza, its a chrome housing.
so would a euro tail light with a CF style housing be ALTEZZA?

i like the gen 2 ones, but i got 95 so they wont fit my car, and red/clear a bit to clear for me so im getting altezza's for now and gunna try to maybe paint for skyline look.

dont know what to say, but i dont like it.

i have a white 95 se with c/f altezza's, the color contrast kinda makes it look a little weird but i still like them, plus, it makes finding my car easier..

 

they are not bad.. probably more popular amongst the younger guys/gals.

 

yeah it looks nice, especially at night, im going to take some pics this weekend so ill post them...

 

I saw a post on another Maxima site called www.vqpower.com that gave instructions on how to paint the Altezzas to match the color of the car.... The guy had some photos of his car with the painted ones in, and it looked F__king great. I have always hated Altezzas, but if I got some, I would paint em...... heres a link
