Need help fixing CEL codes - 0705 0903

Need help fixing CEL codes - 0705 0903

After I installed my VI I got 2 CEL codes can anyone tell me how to fix them?
The Codes are:
0903- EVAP canister vent control valve circuit fault
0705- EVAP system leak

The evaporative canister collects fumes from your gas tank and then "purges" them into the intake when you start the engine. Your codes could just be a loose gas cap as that causes a leak to be detected.

loose gas cap, or evap canister purge valve stuck.

just behind rear driver's side wheel, you'll see a black plastic box. That's evap canister. take it out and shake it.
if there's some water-ish substance, turn it upside down and let the water out.

If the valve is stuck, you have to clean it and put it back.

how do u clean the valve if it is stuck?

mind you, I have one of the first 4th gens (made in 94!)

mine was like those of the 3rd genners... right beneath the brake master cylinder.

I cut the glue that was holding the valve cover, then opened the whole thing with a screw (-) driver.

But you can just clean the valve by putting air through the hose connected to it, like blowing with your mouth (hmm, the good old way) or compressed air.
