I know man, the economy sucks.

My best friend is 28 and living with his Mom because he hasn't had a job for 2 years. Of course, he won't accept anything under $50k, so it's sort of his fault.

I'm sure you're an upstanding citizen. Just calm down and take a breather. Noone was attacking you....just being playful.

I30 - but yes, I've told him that a million times - He's stubborn. He made 65k a year before the bubble burst on the dotcom world. Doesn't want to go below 50k - but I keep telling him every day he's jobless makes his resume look worse and worse.

Fortunately, I held tight and took on all sorts of non-job description type jobs just to stay on while my company went through 50% layoffs.

Dumped a bunch of money into shares at .70, and now it's at $4.19.....

I have an auto I30 which I love. I got the Vb mod done and also had my torque converter modified at the same time. These 2 mods make a huge f***in difference. I am waiting to get the mevi before I take her to the track. So far I have raced my buddies 2003 g35 sedan 3 times and have takin him by atleast 1 1/2 car lengths every time. This is without engaging NOS.

Its something about the car the combination of the horspeower torque, and wieght of the car that make it more fun to drive.

but after drving the 5-sp, I have to say the tranny makes a HUGE difference in the performance of the car...
told you bro, aren't u glad we got the 5-spd even tho u don't get to drive it much imagine if the 240 were 5 spd that sucker would be so much fun better yet imagine if the CL was a six speed anyways glad u like driving the stick have fun in the GLE oh and the f'ing auto door locks are f'ed up check my other thread http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hreadid=199447

5 speeds rule autos. my bone stock 02 GXE sentra 5-speed is about as high on the fun factor for pure driving as my 98 auto with all the mods. (of course, the max is faster, but still) i drove a 5 speed max or two. i was in heaven... that's why when the sentra gets traded in, 5spd 4th gen here we go

ok...is that all you have on your I30? VB mod and torque converter?? Yeah, i HIGHLY doubt you can take the G35 by 1.5 cars, means your running in the mid 14s. Not on a lightly modded auto I30 you aint...

if you drive a 5spd you enjoy driving more than anyone with an auto.

The g35 is a 4dr A/T. I think 0-60 is 6.7 according to www.edmunds.com
Anyone in L.a area want to meet up at palmdale track late april? I will have my mevi and NOS dry manifold kit installed by then. For now I will be removing my wet NOS kit. If your interested in meeting up PM me to discuss details($, mods, $$$, etc.) Stop talkin and start walkin the walk. Jealousy is a b***h

i dont see anyone being jealous, i for one am not, but thats just me whats there to be jealous of? there is always going to be someone faster than u out there, so whats the difference? just saying a g35 is fast and an auto max could hang in there with it modded up but the max in auto is not a max in stick, max in stick ownz do the same mods on two max's 1 auto and 1 stick and the auto will get toasted plain n simple

I fracture my left foot and if it wouldn't for my auto I couldn't drive my car so that's an advantage.
I hope it was not from kicking himself in the azz for not geeting a 5 speed. j/k I could not resist.
